The NATO-ICI Centre represents an important milestone in NATO’s deepening cooperation with Kuwait and the entire region. The Centre will facilitate the sharing of expertise and improve understanding between NATO and Kuwait, as well as with Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE. Kuwaiti authorities proposed the establishment of the Centre at NATO’s Chicago Summit in 2012 and the alliance accepted it.

The Eaton CEAG Emergency lighting system is supported by batteries of 143.1 AH capacity, 5 panels and 711 safety luminaries and is designed to ensure backup lighting in case of any emergency or power failure, therefore easing evacuation and ensuring the utmost priority to human safety.

Flexible lighting control with dimming and AV integration was achieved by a Merten-KNX System consisting of; 210 multi-sensors for energy conservation, 27 switching actuators & 52 dimming modules for circuit control, 3 touch panels for central control, 50 hand-held remote controls for easy control, 188 push button panels for switching & dimming control, and 14 power supply for system support.
