After over 25 years, the Al Salam palace (which was harshly damaged during the Iraqi Invasion in the 1990’s) is finally renovated, bringing back the palaces famous chandelier and grounds to their former glory and brilliance.
While the original landmark was built in the 1960’s to accommodate visiting heads of state, the renovated palace is being designed with a museum, a visitor centre and a palace garden.
Central Battery System

The Eaton CEAG Emergency lighting system is supported by batteries ranging from 14 to 85 AH capacity, 8 panels and 700 safety luminaries and is designed to ensure backup lighting in case of any emergency or power failure, therefore easing evacuation and ensuring the utmost priority to human safety.

Flexible lighting control with dimming and AV integration was achieved by a Helvar Control System consisting of; 50 relay modules, 20 dimmer modules, 35 intelligent push button panels and 25 floor controllers.
