The Public Prosecution Headquarters' building consists of a variety of functional areas such as offices for public attorneys and prosecutors, interrogation rooms, public facilities, conference halls and a jail; all of which are housed in a ten storey block. Purity of form was a natural design guideline, where sound and sophisticated Arabic/Islamic geometrical patterns were adapted throughout the design process, starting from the building plans, functional components allocation, interior design up to elevation treatment and selection of materials and features.
Flexible lighting control with dimming and AV integration was achieved by a Helvar Control System consisting of; 510 multi-sensors for energy conservation, 30 dimmer & 62 switching panels with 104 switching modules & 42 dimming modules for circuit control, 2 touch panels for central control, 4 hand-held remote controls for easy control, 470 push button panels for switching & dimming control, and 32 floor controllers for system support.
